Shapes of Japan is a personal showcase of Jesse Kristian Myllymäki. Born in Helsinki, Finland and raised in Järvenpää, he is a 19 years old student undergraduate with hobbies including karate, jogging, skiing and drawing.
Currently carrying out his military service Jesse has a reserved place in the respected Helsinki University of Technology (TKK) in Espoo, where he intends to study architecture for the next seven to ten years. In addition, it is highly likely that studies will lead him abroad. |

Jesse’s disciplines are mainly focused in graphic design, which has been his passion since 2001. The so called graphic design career took a more serious and commercial turn few years back in 2003, when Jesse was commissioned to build websites and prints to name but a few. All in all, Jesse's CV spans from website design/coding (xhtml and php) to print and motion. He is basically self-taught and the skills required in the current graphic design business are fluent.
Digital renders aside, Jesse also knows the importance of drawing by hand, which he has exercised his whole life. A pen will be more and more his best friend in the near future due to his architecture studies, not to mention the overwhelming amount of tinkering with different cardboards and iron wire!
Jesse is currently working in various client projects. After military service, which will end in the sixth of April 2006, Jesse is open for new and challenging short-term job opportunities. |
